Ms. Emma Louise Williams was born in Sumter County, Georgia on December 4, 1943, to the parentage of the late Mr. John C. Williams and the late Mrs. Louise Stewart Williams. Emma was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. She was employed by Davidson Rubber Company, Americus, Georgia for many years until her health failed. Through her ups and downs, she never gave up. Taking life in a new direction….Emma started doing the things that she loved the best…HOUSEKEEPING! Cooking was her favorite and she was awesome at it, too. She was also the mother figure for her siblings.

On Wednesday, January 24, 2018, she quietly transitioned to her Heavenly home. Emma is preceded in death by four brothers, Mr. Johnny Williams, Mr. George Williams, Mr. Willie James Williams and Mr. Jeffery “Scotty” Williams and one sister, Mrs. Annie Ruth Thomas.

She leaves to cherish her sweet memories, one devoted sister, Ms. Betty Protho and two devoted brothers, Mr. Frank Williams and Mr. Norman Williams all of Plains, GA; two aunts, Ms. Ruby Bush and Ms. Queen Thurston both of Deerfield, FL; two uncles, Mr. James Stewart of Pompano Beach, FL and Mr. Melvin Burton of New Jersey; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Barbara Williams, Americus, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends also survive.
