NAACP 33rd Annual Freedom Fund Banquet Coming in April

Last year Billionaire Willie E Gary brought down the house in a packed Freedom Fund Banquet at South GA Technical College. President Matt Wright, branch president, said that we will have another great banquet this year with the renowned Glen Ford of the famous Black Agenda Report. He is Glen Rutherford with roots in Sumter County. He is cousin to Linda Rutherford-Wright, wife of NAACP president Mathis Wright. The event will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 6:00 pm. We are returning to the Hangar Gymnasium at South GA Technical College.

We want to thank the citizens of Americus for your continued support for 33 years, says President Wright. Our theme for this year is "Change Has Come" and again we are asking local churches and civic groups to select a male or female youth to receive a $100.00 savings account opened in their name at Wachovia Bank. This is a continuation of our 32nd Annual Freedom Fund Banquet- Theme: "Investing in Our Youth." Your support will continue to help us bring our community closer together as we continue to set new standards for pro-active improvements rather than reactive adjustments. A total of 30 savings accounts will once again be given to deserving young men and women in our community.

If your family, church, or civic organization is interested in purchasing a table of 10 it is only $500.00. You may want to buy advertisement in our souvenir journal:
The inside cover page advertisement is $500.00 and the outside back cover is $600.00
A full page is $200.00; half page is $100.00; fourth page is $75.00; eighth page is $35.00
