Republicans have had enough of Bush
Final Call.com
Whenever presidential ratings dip into the 30's as George Bush's has then we know that his own Republicans are sick and tired of him. We heard Pat Buchanan come close to saying that Bush needs to be impeached in a debate on CSPAN this weekend with former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle. They both agreed that Bush is in very deep trouble and his administration is a failure with no way out. The voters in all parties throughout our nation can see that Bush is the worst president in US history as revealed by the most recent polls.
The minorities of our country struggled in the 2004 presidential election to keep Bush from becoming reelected but the Republicans and other conservatives won or stole the election like they did in 2000. The Black community led the way to stop Bush in both elections but the conservatives prevailed. We can see the disappointment on their faces as they pretend to be ok with the US in such a disastrous condition under Bush. How can anyone in his right mind be pleased with the economy, the highest deficit in U.S. history, an illegal war in Iraq that we are losing, a failing education system, good jobs outsourced abroad, huge tax breaks for the richest 2% of Americans, 40 million Americans without health insurance, illegal spying and wiretaps on Americans, secret prisons around the world and torture, questionable deal with foreigners taking over our ports, cuts in Medicaid and a confusing Medicare prescription plan. The president of the U.S. has been a complete failure and his supporters are beginning to run from him.
We have run many editorials in this newspaper making a clarion call to not re-elect George Bush but our stubborn conservatives wanted to prove that they could re-elect him. Well, we have to live with the undoing of a great nation that is in a rapid decline. People everywhere are calling Bush the greatest terrorist of them all. He attacked a sovereign nation with his "shock and awe" theme killing innocent citizens of Iraq based on a lie that there were weapons of mass destruction in that country. Iraq was a very weak nation that was defeated in the Gulf War under Bush's daddy and had to survive sanctions imposed on them by the U.N. In spite of all that, the U.S. is still losing badly and is trying to find a way to get out of Iraq before more people get killed.
The real mask came off the face of George Bush when Hurricane Katrina revealed the true heart of George Bush when it comes to poor Black and White in New Orleans. Bush lied about not knowing how dangerous the levees were that flooded the region. It is amazing that he has not been impeached by now given all of the lies. President Clinton lied about a personal matter and he was nearly impeached.
Clinton turned the country over to Bush with the largest Surplus in U.S. history, jobs and employment was high especially for Blacks, there was no war, Clinton didn't cut taxes for the rich and we still were in great shape as a nation. Bush wasn't in office three months when the economy began to bottom out. It is now the worst economy ever.
We are saddened by the way Bush was able to trick the religious community by claiming to do a constitutional amendment against gay marriage before the election and since he got back in office he has not even mentioned gay marriage. There are several Black clergy who were going after the faith based money that Bush dangled before them. Even though the clergy joined George Bush to keep him in office, we all are suffering under this President.
The Honorable Louis Farrakhan has warned the world that George Bush is a modern day Pharaoh. Bush believes he has absolute power and can reign like a king in America. The enemies of America have to love George Bush because he is making their work so much easier for them. Bin Laden can go in peace knowing that Bush will do to the U.S. what he could never do and that is, bring down America to such a low point that we will never get back up again.
