PTSD Center Coming to Albany

 In 2006, instructions to expand capabilities for Phoebe Putney Hospital to treat sufferers of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) were included in the FY06 is a debilitatting illness affecting individuals who have experienced or witnessed lifethreatning events such as military combat, natural disasters, serious accidents and assaults.

Robert Thomas, Jr. won a $250 scholarship from Glover Foods. He had a 4.00 GPA for the Summer Quarter at South Georgia Technical College majoring in culinary arts. He is a native of Hartford, Connecticut. He has been in Americus for over 25 years and is employed with Triwood as a paper slicer. He wants to thank Glover's for the award and the inspiration that comes with it.
