Hillary/Obama:

A Winning ticket for ‘08

When Senator Barack Obama decided to enter the Democratic Primaries and challenge Hillary Clinton, the leader of the Democratic candidates, he took the majority of Black Democrats. Hillary Clinton has to be embarrassed and devastated by the Obama shocker. In spite of her losses in the Democratic Primaries, she is still the stronger candidate against the Republicans than against Obama. Hillary never knew what hit her when the Obama machine went into operation. Nevertheless, a Hillary/Obama ticket is unbeatable in the general election against McCain if he is the Republican nominee given dilemma."

A young spiritualist told our newspaper the same thing that there is something divine about Clinton, first woman and Obama, the first Black running at the same time. We strongly credit Senator Clinton for the eight years in the White House alongside her husband President Clinton. She received and participated in most if not all of the major decisions that her husband had to make. That is as close as one can get in the way of "on the job training." It is apparent to us that Senator Clinton is the only candidate from either political party who is truly ready on day one. She was already an accomplished politician, having participated in Watergate Hearings on President Nixon, first lady to Governor Bill Clinton of Arkansas, and to be elected twice as Senator from New York is unprecedented.

We would foolish to miss a golden opportunity to allow such a brilliant woman who has so much hands on experience and a record of achievement in state and national politics. Senator Obama does not bring as much to the table as Clinton when it comes to politics in America. However, he brings a fresh vitality and inspiration that is attractive to the young. He is more suited as the vice president where he can get more experience and see up close what a president has to deal with on a daily basis. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama should save the Party by uniting on the same ticket and defeat the Republicans in November
