Mr. Jeffery Warren Monteith was born in Sumter County, Georgia on August 31, 1989 to the parents of Mr. Mitchell Jefferson Monteith and Mrs. Karen Lester Monteith. At an early age, he joined the Friendship Baptist Church. Later he moved his membership to Allen Chapel A.M.E Church. He was a 2007 graduate of Americus Sumter High School, he was a dedicated member of the Americus High Singers, Jeffery was attending Columbus State University, where he was an upcoming Junior. Until recently he was employed by Burger King. Jeffery was well loved by his family and friends and will be missed dearly. In addiction to his parents he leaves to mourn his passing, four brothers, Mr. Scotty Monteith, Americus, GA, Mr. Keon Lester, Cordele, GA, Mr. Timothy Monteith and Mr. Terry Monteith of Kentucky; three sisters, Mrs. Katoyia (Jerrime) Hughes, Fayetteville, NC, Ms. Christy Monteith, Perry, GA and Ms. Tamara Monteith of Kentucky; his grandparents, Ms. Maggie Harris, Fayetteville, NC and Ms. Jackie Mackey, Cordele, GA; four nieces & nephews; aunts& uncles, Mr. Kevin (Marlene) Lester, Ms. Christy Harris of Montezuma, GA, Mr. Brian Harris, Mooresville, NC, Mrs. Teresa (Rev. Efrem) Yarber, Ms. Carolyn (Larry) Hollomon, Mr. Matthew Mackey, Cordele, GA, Mr. Mark Monteith, Newman, GA and Mr. Monty Monteith, Myrtle Beach, SC; and a host of, great aunt & uncles, cousins other relatives and friends also survive. |
