Southern Republicans Support Bush At All Cost

The South is a Region of our country that can ill afford to support a raging maniac like George W. Bush. Southern elected officials know their area is on the bottom when it comes to education, healthcare and economic growth. The South leads the nation with the poorest Black, White, and Hispanic citizens. It really shocks me to see Southern congressmen speaking to the House of Representatives as if they have all of the answers on Iraq and the economy; while their region is always on the bottom as compared to the rest of the country.

CAST THE FIRST STONE

James L. Bryant, Jr.

When I began this column in December 2005, it was designed to expose the hypocrisy of our enemies. The purpose of the editorials were to give our enemies a taste of their own medicine. I wanted to see if our enemies could swallow seeing their past mistakes and indiscretions published for all to see. A few of them could, but the majority of them could not.

The Psychology of Fear

By Harry R. Davidson, Ph.D.
—Guest Columnist—

Oil was the real reason America invaded Afghanistan and Iraq. Any doubt you may have had about the motivation behind the so-called “war on terror” should have been dispelled by a report on the oil corporations’ 2006 profits. Exxon Mobil alone reported $39.58 billion last quarter of 2006. This resulted in a record $377.64 billion for the year that topped the $370.68 billion recorded in 2005.
